The Department of Social Development offers exciting opportunities to suitable candidates for potential placement in our internship programme.

Benefits of the Internship
The intention is to give practical work experience to those students who require In-Service Training to obtain their qualifications and those who recently graduated but are unemployed and require exposure to a work environment
Youth from all Race and Gender categories are encouraged to apply for the internship.
Note: Successful candidates will be placed in any of the Departments of Ekurhuleni, Tshwane, Sedibeng, West Rand, and Johannesburg where the need has been identified and will be expected to enter a 24-month contract that is anticipated to commence between April and July 2023.

Applications should include:
The Z83 application form, and CV with certified copies of relevant Qualifications and ID documents.
All applications should be submitted to the nearest Social Development office or institution.
Note: Students should be prepared to be placed throughout all regions and institutions within the Gauteng Department of Social Development. No incomplete faxed or emailed applications shall be considered.
